Milton Keynes Play Association

There are many ways in which you can get involved with the wide variety of projects at MKPA and two of the main areas are:

  • Volunteering
  • Donating Scrap

As a charity, MKPA values the help and support of volunteers. We can offer a variety of roles for a volunteer. Currently we have volunteers helping us in the Resource Unit, sorting and bagging materials, restocking the shelves, helping with picking up resources from donor companies. We have volunteers supporting our Front Office staff, administering memberships, training bookings or helping our accounting staff. We have a number of volunteers supporting our Play Team, helping deliver play sessions.

If you’re interested in volunteering for MKPA please email,
call 01908 263033 or visit us at 2 Burners Lane, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes MK11 3HB.

Donating Scrap

The Scrapstore of the Milton Keynes Play Association will collect suitable scrap items, FREE OF CHARGE, for re-use by its member groups for arts and crafts, design and technology projects and creative play.

Fundraising – Equipment Hire

Milton Keynes Play Association has a variety of different equipment available to hire suitable for fundraising events e.g. fêtes and also for personal use such as children’s parties. We also hire play equipment.

Please note that you would need to be a member of Milton Keynes Play Association to hire any of our equipment. Click here for membership details.

Fundraising for MKPA

If you are an individual or school looking to support a local charity – why not choose MKPA?! We actively champion the right of children to play freely and imaginatively, supporting their social, imaginative, physical, emotional and communicational development by providing direct play opportunities. All support we receive makes a real difference to children in the local community and we would love to hear your fundraising ideas.
