Doorstep Play

The Doorstep Play Project is aimed at providing quality play provision in small pockets of space, overseen by the homes of local residents.

These activities are close to home for younger children, and help put parents and carers at ease when their younger children are out playing, and alleviate the fear of anti-social behaviour and bullying.

The sessions bridge the gap for many residents that don’t feel their children are safe enough making their own way to local play spaces, so will be a great way for their children to get out an about, and mix with other local children and young people.

We will shortly be applying for funding for a similar project.
